1 Percent better each year — That's our goal!

20- year low

Learning Gaps
According to the 2022 National Report Card that assess proficiency in Math, Reading, Science, and other subjects, K-12 students at all levels averaged test scores were the lowest they'd ever been in 20 years.
Unless we close the learning gaps that young professionals are facing, it will be more costly and take more time to bring them into the workforce.
The Department of Education Learning Recovery Survey says over 45 percent of public schools are using outreach program and community partnership to help catch students up.

2.1 Million workers need — at least

Pilots, Mechanics, Technicians, Cabin Crew
Boeing's Commercial Market Outlook predicts a global need for more than 2.1 million pilots, mechanics, technicians, and cabin crew workers by 2040.
What's worse, pilots, mechanics, technicians, and cabin crew workers make up less than 2 percent of the eight hundred and ninety plus professionals that work in and around aviation. Finding the next generation of aviation professionals means widening the scope — significantly!

$4,700+ per new hire

Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, retaining, and replacing
Companies are now spending more than ever to find the right person to join the efforts.
In 2022, the Society of Human Resource Management Benchmark Report, shared how hiring is getting more expensive compared to the national average from 2016 to 2022.
For companies to maximize their growth, there is an economic imperative to improve the cost of finding the right talent.

Pilots make up just 0.1 percent of the aviation workforce.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), there are at least 867 direct and related aviation professions. Yet, a majority of the recruitment focus is on pilot careers, which only represents 0.1% of aviation careers. There's so much room to grow.

Here's how we make it happen. Talent Pledge Members Commit to:
